Tendrils In The Garden

WordPress Design, Branding, Photography

Tendrils in the Garden is a new small business selling handcrafted garden obelisks and outdoor decor. I partnered with the owner from the ground up—handling everything from product photography and brand styling to full website design and development. Built on WordPress, the site is clean, responsive, and designed to reflect the client’s aesthetic while keeping the focus on her products.

Key features include a photo-forward layout, seamless links to Instagram and Facebook, and a simple structure that makes future updates easy. The site supports early-stage marketing efforts and serves as a flexible foundation as the business grows.

Omnipress

Custom WordPress Development, Theme Design, Marketing Integration

As the lead developer and designer for Omnipress.com, I rebuilt the site from the ground up to support the organization’s evolving marketing goals. The project replaced a legacy Divi-based build with a fully custom WordPress theme built on Bootstrap 5, focused on performance, scalability, and ease of use for the internal team.

The new site features a modular system of Advanced Custom Fields flexible content blocks and custom templates, allowing for structured yet adaptable page layouts. Multiple custom post types were implemented to organize key resources like customer stories, webinars, videos, FAQs, and downloadable guides—supporting both SEO and lead generation strategies.

Key integrations include Pardot marketing automation, Google Tag Manager, and custom tracking for campaign attribution. The site is fully responsive, optimized for SEO, and designed to serve a niche audience of association professionals, event planners, and training program managers.

I continue to manage and evolve the site as part of my ongoing role, supporting marketing initiatives and maintaining technical performance.

Open House Imports

eCommerce Development, Content Migration, Custom WordPress Features

Open House Imports is a specialty gift shop with a long-standing online presence. I led the full redesign and redevelopment of their eCommerce website, migrating the store from a legacy Zen Cart system to a modern WordPress and WooCommerce platform.

The goal was to preserve the look and feel of the previous site—honoring customer familiarity—while delivering a cleaner, more user-friendly experience. The design balances tradition with modern functionality, making it easier for customers to browse and purchase products across devices.

Key features include a custom cart migration process, user access controls via MemberPress to delegate store and event calendar management to staff, and lightweight customizations to display site-wide notices—such as when the shop is temporarily closed.

This was a solo project, and I continue to provide ongoing support and maintenance for the site.
